We do not send out tax forms since we do not qualify for that benefit. All we can provide is a receipt for your class. If you need something to show payment for your class please email studentservices@trainingdivision.com to request a receipt.

If you enrolled and paid directly to Smart, please email Kasey to obtain a receipt if needed. Her email is kasey@smartfire.ca

TCFP Personal Identification Number (PIN) requirement

Moodle tips

Moodle minimum browser requirements are: Firefox 4, Internet Explorer 10, Safari 5, Google Chrome 11, Opera 9

We find that there seems to be LESS browser support requests from users with Firefox or Google Chrome.

In addition making sure the browser and its plugins such as Flash are up to-date always helps with browsing content.

Unintentional log outs

If the “unable to connect” message from the search engine occurs after hitting a submit button you should use the previous page option, not refresh.  If you go back to the previous page you should then be allowed to resubmit what you are wanting to do.  If the refresh option is chosen then it might cause you to have to re-log in.  If nothing was saved prior to that point, it may not

To Save your tests, Click the "NEXT" button

If for any reason you choose to leave your test before it is complete, you must first click on the NEXT button at the bottom of your testing screen for it to be saved. This will allow that test to be stored and saved in the system at the point where you left off. If your test or browser is closed before you click on the NEXT button, your data will be lost and you will have to start the test over. When you are finished with your test, click SUBMIT for your grade.

Printing Course Content

Moodle currently does not have a "print button" for printing course material. We have submitted a request to add this feature. However, you can print a page from your browser. Please see attachment for details.
