Finals for the advanced classes

Most finals are set to be taken on the 28th. Here are some exceptions for the rest of the year due to weekends, holidays, etc.


May 30

July 26

Sept 27

Oct 30

Dec 27


The final opens at 12:01 am and will close at 11:59 pm. Please plan your time accordingly to get this test taken.

If you are having issues with the TCFP FIDO site to obtain your PIN#, please be patient. The commission is having some trouble with the web site. Just keep checking back until you get your FIDO PIN#.

Testing Procedures for Advanced Fire Courses

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY FOR THE FOLLOWING COURSES:

DRIVER OPERATOR

FIRE INVESTIGATOR

FIRE INSPECTOR

INSTRUCTOR I, II, III

FIRE OFFICER I, II, III, IV

To ensure validity of your Training Division Final Exam you are required to complete testing in a proctored environment.

Testing can be proctored by a TCFP Field Examiner, Member of an educational institution, or at a Testing institution.

THIS IS A REQUIREMENT SET BY THE TEXAS COMMISSION ON FIRE PROTECTION AND TEXAS ADMINISTRATIVE CODE.

Specific information can be found in Part 2 of your monthly course work

Boot camp scheduling

Trading boot camps amongst other students is not allowed. There is a process for rescheduling and changing your boot camp. Please follow the instructions in your syllabus.

Travel suggestions

If traveling from an area that has bad winter storms when you are scheduled to come to boot camp we suggest flying out 1-2 days prior to boot camp in case of delays or cancelled flights. This may cost a little more to get here early but will save you the fees of rescheduling or delaying your boot camp to a later time.
